The Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University Campus is located in the center of Bucharest, just one metro stop from Unirii Square. It can be reached very easily from any part of the city using only public transportation: metro (lines M1/M3) - Timpuri Noi station, bus (133, 312, 323) or tram 19 - "Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University" station.
Modern auditoriums and classrooms
The University benefits from modern auditoriums, designed to support an interactive and efficient learning environment, with capacities ranging from 120 to 160 seats. These spaces are equipped with the latest multimedia technologies (advanced projection systems, smart boards and state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment specifically designed for distance learning).
Facilities also include lecture and seminar rooms, well-equipped laboratories and power points for students' mobile devices, providing an ideal setting for academic and professional development.
Aula Magna
Aula Magna, the cultural and academic heart of the campus, hosts graduation ceremonies and a variety of congresses, conferences and cultural events. With a seating capacity of 450, this hall is the space where tradition meets excellence, providing a solemn and inspiring setting for the most important moments in the lives of students and the academic community.
University library
The University has a modern library with over 50,000 volumes and 15,000 titles in Romanian and foreign languages, covering the fields of study of the bachelor and master programs.
Students have unlimited access to information resources, including a digital library, accessible from anywhere, which facilitates academic exploration and research.
Chapel
The University Chapel "St. Beloved Father Dimitrie the New" at the Christian University "Dimitrie Cantemir", the first Orthodox place of worship established within a private university in Romania, was founded by Prof. Univ. Dr. Momcilo Luburici. It is a place of deep spiritual significance for the university community and visitors.
The foundation stone was laid in 2000 by His Eminence Teodosie, Bishop-Vicar of the Archdiocese of Bucharest, and in 2005, after the completion of the painting and sculpting works, the chapel was consecrated by His Beatitude Teoctist, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church. The spiritual patron saints are St. Demetrios the New, the miracle-worker, and the Archangels Michael and Gabriel.
The Chapel, located on the first floor next to Amphitheater B, has a daily schedule that may vary depending on specific holidays (it is posted at the entrance).
Sports hall and pitch
The "Dimitrie Cantemir" Sports Club provides UCDC students with top-class sports facilities, including a modern gym equipped with adequate changing rooms. This hall hosts courses in Physical Education and Sport, a compulsory subject for all faculties of the university. Various sports competitions such as basketball, table tennis and chess also take place here.
This dedicated space not only improves fitness but also cultivates team spirit and competitiveness in a dynamic university environment.
Student Club and Kuki Cafe
The Cantemir Student Club offers a wide range of activities that stimulate students' personal and professional development. Organizing scientific debates, conferences on topics relevant to student life, as well as cultural performances and sports and tourism activities, the club provides a dynamic and interactive space for all its members. All these services are offered free of charge, encouraging the active and continuous participation of students in the life of the academic community.
For moments of relaxation and socializing, the"Kuki Cafe" offers the perfect place where students can take a coffee break or a snack. Conveniently located on the ground floor of campus, the café is a meeting point where students can enjoy hot and cold drinks, snacks and a friendly atmosphere. The "Kuki Cafe" is ideal for recharging between classes or having informal chats with colleagues and professors in a relaxing and cozy environment.
