Quality, performance, competitiveness - these are the essential requirements that are part of our university's medium and long-term policy. Their fulfillment is conditioned by the transition from the standards required by the accreditation process to performance standards, which will provide the graduate with competences in a globalized, demanding and dynamic environment.

Achieving standards of excellence is possible only if the entire university activity is performance-oriented, through continuous improvement of the offer and results, a high performance management at all levels and by encouraging a responsible attitude of the entire staff (teachers, students and administration).

The competitiveness of our university is given by its ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the economic and social environment and of the competitive market of educational and consultancy services.

As a private institution of higher education, "Dimitrie Cantemir" Christian University was conceived and organized to respond to acute requirements of political, economic and social significance in the field of human resources training, by training specialists for the public and private sector whose professional experience to ensure, at European standards, the ability to assume managerial and leadership responsibilities in terms of managing the transformations and the rate of modernization in Romania.

In order to fulfill these roles at the level of the current demands of the society, the Senate of "Dimitrie Cantemir" Christian University decided to develop an efficient system of evaluation and quality assurance of the services provided, which will guarantee the performance orientation and increase the prestige of the university within the national and international academic community, by creating the University Quality Assurance and Evaluation Commission (CEAC).

The responsibility for quality management lies with the Rector of the university, who delegates the operational management of quality assurance and quality assessment actions to the President of ECAC.

The Commission for Quality Assessment and Quality Assurance coordinates the actions aimed at the effective functioning and development of the quality assurance system of "Dimitrie Cantemir" Christian University in accordance with the policy, mission and objectives of the University, in line with national and international standards of quality in higher education.

In this context, the Commission for Quality Assessment and Quality Assurance has developed, in collaboration with the teaching staff and students of the university, as well as with the other departments and commissions of UCDC, a set of documents and regulations, aimed at increasing the quality of the educational process.
