From April 8 to May 25, 2024, "Dimitrie Cantemir" Christian University will participate in the Blended Intensive Programme Erasmus+, a program with the theme "Equity and Equality in Education". The activity will be based on a partnership agreement with the Universidad Internacional Isabel I de Castilla in Spain and the Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici Linguistici Internazionale in Italy, and will include the participation of students, master students and academics in online courses and presentations, as well as study visits to Spain.
The first phase of the program took place online, between 22-27 April 2024, with the participation of a number of students from Romania, Spain, Italy and Lithuania, and thesecond phase will take place in Spain, in Burgos, between 20-25 May 2024, with the participation of 3 (three) university teachers and 6 (six) students and master students from the Christian University "Dimitrie Cantemir".
The main benefit of this Erasmus program for students is the experience of learning in an intercultural environment and in international teams. Students and teachers from all participating institutions will work in mixed groups with the aim of developing a better understanding of gender and equal opportunities issues. The main objective is to achieve a higher level of inclusiveness and sustainability in education, to promote cultural and linguistic diversity and to remove social, linguistic and gender barriers.
Students participating in this program will receive 3 study credits (ECTS) and a diploma of participation.
