The Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University conferred on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Professor Klaus Mainzer, of the Technical University of Munich, President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. A leading research personality in the area of the relationship between philosophy and science, with a particular aptitude for issues related to sustainability, Prof. Klaus Mainzer lectured, on the occasion of the conferral of the honorary title, on the challenges of the age of artificial intelligence, in a lectio magistralis entitled "Challenges of a Complex and Chaotic World in the Age of Artificial Intelligence".
