Christian University Dimitrie Cantemir is organizing from July 13–19, 2026 an with the theme of artificial intelligence applied in business and entrepreneurship. Participants include students and faculty members from China, Mexico, South Korea, the United States, and Armenia.
The program combines thematic lectures, hands-on workshops, and cultural activities. The official graduation ceremony takes place on Friday afternoon, in the presence of Prof. Corina Dumitrescu, President and Rector of Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University. The focus is on practical application: each day of the course includes a case study that participants work on individually.

Triple Session: Prof. Peter Schlosser from Arizona State University, Qinglan Wei from the Communication University of China, and Christoph Bercea-Rott, a Microsoft expert at UCDC, discuss innovation and the creation of new businesses using AI. It includes a hands-on workshop on the Doblin framework—ten types of innovation—in which participants work on their own business concepts. Dr. Marja-Liisa Tenhunen, Vice Rector for Internationalization, will lead the final academic session, dedicated to data ethics and AI governance. This will be followed by individual presentations by the participants, the final evaluation, and, in the afternoon, the graduation ceremony with Rector Prof. Corina Dumitrescu. What Participants Gain
AI in a Sector-Specific Context
The sessions cover the impact of AI on accounting, marketing, law, and international communication, with concrete real-world examples.
Critical Thinking Applied to AI Ethics
An entire day is dedicated to data governance and ethics. Participants leave not only with knowledge of how AI works, but also with the right questions about how it should be used.
Academic and Professional Communication in an International Setting
The program is conducted in English, with participants from six countries. The sessions on communication and language also cover AI tools for multilingual contexts.
UCDC-Accredited Certificate
At the end of the week, participants will receive an official certificate of participation issued by Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University.

Peter Schlosser — Professor, Vice President, and Chief Executive Officer, Arizona State University, U.S.
An internationally renowned physicist and scientist, director of the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory at ASU. An expert in hydrology, ocean circulation, and sustainable development. Honorary Doctorate from Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University (2021).
Csongor Barabasi — CEO, Bonsai Labs, United Kingdom
A graduate in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Birmingham, with experience in implementing machine learning in delivery systems at Deliveroo and in AI-powered legal platforms used by international law firms.
Radu Danciu — Associate Professor, Ph.D., Vice Rector for AI, UCDC
Research in digital accounting, AI-powered accounting systems, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in higher education.
Marja-Liisa Tenhunen — Ph.D., Vice Rector for Internationalization, UCDC
Former rector of Centria University of Applied Sciences in Finland for 17 years. Visiting professor at Shanghai University and North China University of Technology. Expert in strategic management and digitalization.
Qinglan Wei — Associate Professor, Communication University of China, Beijing
Head of the Department of Computer Science and Intelligent Technology, with research in deep learning and large-scale AI models. Recipient of the Best Paper Award at China MM 2024.
