“Dimitrie Cantemir” Christian University awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydin, President of Euras, President of Aydin University of Istanbul
The Senate of the University, meeting in extraordinary session, decided to award the title of Doctor Honoris Causa Prof.univ.dr. Mustafa Aydin for all his academic activity, for the realization of an innovative educational framework of academic exchanges in the Euro-Asian and international space.
As a result, on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at the “Dimitrie Cantemir” Christian University, during the solemn session in the Aula Magna of the University, the ceremony of conferring the high title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydin, President of Euras, President of Aydin University of Istanbul, took place.
Prof. Prof. Dr. Cristiana Cristureanu, Rector of the University, read the academic document Laudatio which highlighted the academic contribution of Prof. Prof. dr. Mustafa Aydin in the field of literature and zonal political analysis, the socio-educational contribution through BIL Holding, from 1994-2006, by creating the necessary infrastructure for higher education institutions, taking care of the material base for new seats, as well as the educational framework and the dissemination of academic information through publications, printed materials, database for higher education, etc. His efforts have been recognized by awards from high domestic and international state and international forums, associations, world organizations, and he is one of the best-known personalities in the Euro-Asian area.
The Doctor Doctor Honoris Causa diploma was read in Latin by the President of the University Senate, Prof. Corina-Adriana Dumitrescu. The academic community of the University appreciated the personality and involvement of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydin in the development of higher education, as well as in further promoting responsible and beneficial cooperation between the two universities and in the Euro-Asian space.
